NOT! But considering we do have some female readers, and some of them possibly don’t mind or need to get a good laugh, I decided to take one for the team and look at 3 BL clips and make commentaries on them.

WARNING: if you really love BL/yaoi with a passion and is easily offended, please stop reading right here. Or just enjoy the youtube clips. But if you want to hear my reaction on my first real exposure to fujoshi interests, play the clip and my commentary together. In short, it’s a comedy bit.

I'm a hardcore Anime Fan and I'm proud of it. I know so many things and I've acquired so much knowledge you wouldn't believe. But my love is anime.   1. Hmm I don’t know what to say.. since I am female and I do happen to enjoy bl.

    First clip. I muted it since I didn’t like the audio. the visuals were nice. Reaction on your commentary.. what if this was a clip on yuri then?

    If bl is not your thing, then it is not.

    Second clip…. you sure picked a dated bl.

    Third clip is pretty much a clip of several different bl titles.. Level C was the last clip.

    I kinda wanted to listen to your commentaries, but can only listen to several minutes of it, before bringing closing the clip..now my age old question of it is to everyone’s different tastes. >_<

    1. @ animemiz – well, you have to time the beginning of the clip with the beginning of when I actually start my commentary. 😛
      Yes, everyone has his or her own tastes, so like I said, this post is a comedy post.

      I can see how girls/women would cringe looking at Candy Boy or Strawberry Panic and go “yeeewwww”. Well, I’m just offering my view coming from a guy who’s never watched any BL clips before.

  2. Candy Boy and Strawberry Panic is okay.. I always think that it is better to have an open mind.. comedy has it’s own share of supporters or critics.

  3. @ animemiz – if you feel I’m rather biased against BL, you’re right. I’m rather sensitive. But in reality, anyone can watch what he or she wants. As for comedy, plenty of people know that I’m not funny so maybe this post didn’t work out the way it intended to be.

    Bottomline? I actually wasn’t all that squeamish, just surprised and reacted with laughter. I even think the song in the first clip is quite catchy…Except a thousand suns would make it too hot!
