This special episode was supposed to be released on Halloween, but certain…curses of sorts fell on me that very day. I’m still picking up the pieces from that scariest of days. This is a simple episode, in which we talk about only a few things–the mailbag, and the GOOD, the BAD, and the HORRIBLE of the fall season! (Shows include: ef-a tale of memories, Minami-ke, Gundam 00, Ghost Hound, Kaiji, Genshiken, Kimikiss Pure Rouge, and Kawaii Jenny.)
Also, if you noticed that this podcast sounds a little different, it’s because Ray so kindly volunteered to edit it! [Editor’s note: I don’t use Apple so no AAC, and Mike is swamped with work to edit it and make it AAC format. Gomen nasai!] I think you’ll agree he did a great job.So, enjoy this very late Halloween episode…if you dare. Bwahahahahaha!

You guys should kick it up a notch and make a video version of your Anime Diet show. I think your listeners would enjoy being able to watch and see first hand all the things your talking about like slide pictures, video clips from scenes of Anime shows you cover.
We’d love to if we were to do this as a full time job. Alas, we don’t have plans and don’t really know if this can be made into a full time job. But thanks for the suggestion!
Ray: It don’t have to be a full time job. Just start off with one test video show and post it and see what kind of response you get. I do listen to your shows when they come out and so many times I wish I can see in real time whats going on when you talk about things. Like that time you guys talked about the so called nice boat. just think for a moment, people being about to see that one scene while you talk about it.
I really think if you guys pull together on this and make it happen, you could very well change Anime Podcasting for ever. Right now, no one else is doing this.
Now I have thought about doing this on my own, and brought it up to the listeners on my show, but it caused sort of a panic out there and a ton of email after finding out I’m the only surviving Sailor Moon Webcasting show left. So this is why I never did it.
By the way, Ray. I got to tell you about some of the new Animes I saw and now hooked on. You might want to do reviews on them if you like:
1. Noein
2. Ojamajo Doremi
3. Powerpuff Girls Z (:P)~ ~
A buddy of mine got me hooked on Noein, damn this show was great. Saw all 26 of them. Then came across Doremi, hehehe ohhhh so cute! and last, Yup! I’m so hooked on the new PowerPuff Girls Z, Anime. hehehe It happened one night while at a friends house and he just so happen to tape all 13 ep’s.
WOW this Anime is so damn cute.
Ahahahaha… you guys actually replied…
:3
My comment wasn’t targeting you at all. btw. I just wanted to say he’s retarded.
As another animeblogger, I support your crusade against splogs. Roah, roah fight the powaa! >.> (I wonder if you watched this series…)
Ray’s accent is so awesome.
Gundam 00 (G00!) is a series I blog. :3
I have to agree that Kawaii Jenny was terrible. Not funny. Urgh. (I kept on thinking Ray says “Guro” when he said “Girl.” Made the entire part confusing. Haha.
Kaiji’s main character and the animation just doesn’t suit me. Just can’t do it.
Ghost Hound is a little slow, but I kinda like those elements. Loved Serial Experiments Lain. The psychologist is really creepy. I love the OP. Jazz ftw. BTW, the animation quality is so awesome. Knowing things about psychology does help.
LOL the sound effects… hahahahahahhahahaha.
I also blog Genshiken 2. The OP was so hilarious. The yaoi-episode was disturbing but hilarious. Read the manga. Can’t wait.
I can’t believe you guys didn’t know what a trap was.
Clannad, Kimikiss and Minami-ke I cover also.
Love all of them.
Ef’s “artistic style” sickened me. The voices annoy me. Couldn’t watch more than 5 episodes. Maybe I will try to pick it up again. Maybe not.
I miss Honey and Clover… The first season. The second season was okies.
Looking foward to your next one.
Small note:
I added you to my blogroll @ jii.animeblogger.net
I have like two readers, and one of them is probably my mother.
No, my mother does not actually read my blog.

The nominations for SaiGar 2008 have just started today. Last year Guts from Berserk narrowly beat Master Asia in an extremely manly 443 to 438 battle that traded the lead several times. This year it’s limited to only anime aired during the previous year instead of an all-time contest. Gurren Lagann characters are expected to be the favourites, with possibly an appearance from Lucky Star’s Anime Tenchou.
