Ray’s take: Yep. Gundam 00 at number one. For a show like this where the main guys are invincible/lucky/girl-like, and the enemy are simply stupid/incompetent/argues like gays to be at the number one spot, the purchasing power of BL lovers cannot be ignored.
Good thing Claymore is at least number 4. There’s something to be happy about.
Sergei was not invincible, nor was he stupid or incompetent. So which side are you labeling him?
@ Vallen Chaos Valiant – hmm, excellent question. I think I shall have to add him to the “unlucky” because he’s on the Human Reform League side. With mecha way too under-advanced he stands no chance (the difference is way too great in my opinion), but if he’s equipped with a much more mobile or heavier firepower mecha with better armor (which doesn’t necessarily imply heavy), he’d stand a better chance. He’s actually the character that I like, alas just he’s penned to be on the wrong side.
Dropped the show. Tell me if something awesome happens later. May pick up again.
Also, Ray, I watched Kiddy Grade and wrote about it. 😛
After a Thrones attack that killed both her parents, Louise had her left hand crushed and had to have it amputated. Saji didn’t know, and brought her the wedding ring she alwayed wanted to the hospital.
Dramatic enough for you? Or do you want more death and destruction before you are satisfied?
