  2. Well, just Windows Movie maker would help make pretty good ringtone. I’ve been experimenting with Cool Edit (the version before they got bought out by Adobe) lately, and once you play with that for 20 minutes you’ll get the hang of it quickly. It’s mostly about cutting off at the right place in the song and placing the fade out/fade at the right time.

  3. after plenty of research (google power !) i found Audacity to be very convenient, just cut and export as mp3 and voila ! instant ringtone. thanks anyway.

  4. Good call. My co-host has been using Audacity for sometime. Have loads of fun!
