Editorial: Why We Love Owen S

Owen S, the Great and Illustrious Mind and Founder of the Anime Blogging Collective, is our noble master! Born in a faraway land, it was his initiative to begin the Glorious Revolution which would overthrow the AnimeNano and Animeblogger imperial running dogs’ regime and lead us toward the shining path of the Collective. From the beginning, Anime Diet has stood proudly with the Dear Founder as he led more and more of the blogging world to the light, to the wave of the future: the Blogging Collective, in which all speak as one.

But recently, counterrevolutionary elements have broken apart the unity of the Collective. These lapdogs of the AnimeNano/AnimeBlogger imperialist factions were swiftly and severely dealt with by our Leader, who showed courage in administering justice to even his former friends. Others departed and made themselves enemies of the Collective. The struggle was bitter and many lives were lost. But the Collective would triumph in the end, as it must, and all now bow once again to the feet of Owen.

Now that all rebellious territories have been retaken, let us all join again together, forgetting the past and moving forward under his glorious leadership and guidance. That is his mercy, and any who dare to spurn his generosity must know that his wrath is swift and terrible like lightning, and that he will brook no dissent or compromise on the way toward the future. This blog has always stood firmly by Owen’s side, and never has a seditious thought entered into it. For through the Collective’s One-Month Plan, it has seen even greater readership and greater comments than ever before. And sure the best days are to come, as the Revolution continues to spread across the blogosphere.

So all hail this day of victory for Owen and the Collective! And to those who watch and have yet to join this movement of the future, we say to you: you have only your chains to lose. Bloggers of the world, unite!
