It’s quite possible that Crunchyroll has hit the record for the most anime simulcasts in a given season. The legal streaming service for anime & Asian drama was able to gather a total of 34 new anime simulcast titles, not including the 10 ongoing series that will be carried throughout this season.
In addition, FUNimation will simulcast 9 new anime titles and Daisuki will simulcast 5 new titles. That’s 43 new anime titles lined up for Spring 2014.
*The total excludes five titles that the streaming websites have in common. Can you guess which titles they are?
As the forty-three anime titles enter the “Corrida Colosseum” (One Piece reference), which series will be the talk of the season? And will any of them be as popular as Attack on Titan, the highlighted series during the Spring 2013 Lineup? Only time will tell. For now, let’s jump into the new season, listed below:
CRUNCHYROLL SPRING 2014: NEW ANIME SIMULCASTS
