AX Video Diary, Day 4 – Autograph Again? + the Dealer Room

Here we are, with the final entry of my AX Video Journal. This one details my second failed attempt to get Hirano Aya’s autograph, despite having gotten up at 4:30 AM and getting in line by 5:30. (She didn’t show up at all to the open autograph session.) I also have some cool footage of the dealer room, which I only visited for the first time on this final day of the con.

These videos were so much fun to put together and share with you all. Thanks for watching! I will be doing a complete writeup/wrap up of this year’s con experience soon.

  1. Yo. This is Kelly again (Haruhi plushie girl).

For the autograph line, I woke up at 4am and got in line around 4:30, not too shabby (I caught my purple “SOS” bag in the video; I must’ve been sleeping when you were recording). I was able to get an autograph and Light drawing from Team Death Note for my friend. A selfish part of me wanted an “L” drawing for myself but I was happy for fulfilling my friend’s wish since she had to work for the AX staff around that time. I didn’t go empty-handed though because I was able to get all six girls from Oreskaband to sign their CD I bought. They were awesome (so adorable! love their attitudes; they’re the definition of “fun”) and I loved their concert performance. I’m a fan now! It definitely made up for the lack of SOS.

    That’s good you didn’t go empty-handed either. There’s always next time, right? …right? TT_TT

  2. Indeed, I remember you sleeping. You were right next to me in line, actually, and I also remember the plushie SOS bag.

Thank you for being part of my interviews! I really enjoyed talking with you and everyone. It certainly made the wait a bit more bearable.

Man, if only I had talked to Oreskaband when I was at the meet-and-greet. I had no idea how cool they were until I saw their show!

  3. A friend of mine actually got a huge poster of the asos brigade signed by the japanese VA and sent it to me as a gift…wish I met them, but I live far away from the U.S….hope next year I can go to AX and be there, but this video helps me appreciate the effort she did to get it…thanks for posting it…:)…and want to thank my friend as well…
