What do you get when you mix moe with hip-hop?

Something like this, a mashup of “Dango Daikazoku” and Busta Rhymes’ “Dangerous.” And…it works. It actually works. And I don’t even particularly like hip-hop. The mashup is smooth and relatively unobtrusive.

  1. I would love to see an alternate universe Clannad – maybe the Okazaki father would have an entirely different sort of father-son conflict with Tomoya, centering on the “thug life.”

    Props to dj Aq.

  2. Wow, it fits really, really well. Who woulda thunk it?
edit: his Youtube page is quite impressive as well.

  3. i like the other stuff by DJ Aq… this mix not so much 😐

maybe it’s just cause dango makes me rage… but it’s an interesting concept still 🙂

  4. moritheil: if only Key was that brave.

Shaxul: because that’s what Tomoya, and every other competent harem lead, actually is: a pimp.

RP: indeed, I checked his page out just now. A.Q. is definitely one talented DJ. Apparently he writes his own trance-based stuff too so this is in a way a departure for him.

digitalboy: it’s done the same thing to me too! Glad to share, though ultimate cred goes to Mori who tweeted about it first.

chii: he has a variety of stuff, fortunately…and well, dangos aren’t for everyone 🙂  To each his or her own.
