An interview with English voice actor Kyle Hebert, who has done much voice acting work in dubbed anime and in video games. He’s a very down-to-earth and funny man, and talks about subs vs. dubs, the challenges of English voice acting when the Japanese are watching your back, and advice on how to get into the voice acting business!

Michael lives in the Los Angeles area, and has been into anime since he saw Neon Genesis Evangelion in 1999. Some of his favorite shows include Full Metal Alchemist, Honey and Clover, and Welcome to the NHK!. Since 2003 he has gone to at least one anime convention every year.   1. He did a great job co-hosting the Masquerade; even if it was a slightly disappointing event, he helped keep things lively and funny.

  2. I’m happy this interview turned up very well. I should have asked him to to say “Next time on Anime Diet!” or something like that.
