What kind of Void do you have?

Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void,
It is shining, it is shining. – John Lennon

In Guilty Crown, there is Void. A materialized weapon extracted by Ouma Shuu from each person’s chest, from each according to his ability, desire, personality, and character. Power to revolutionize the world.

My Void is Muttsurini‘s camera. To take pictures of moekkos to revolutionize the world with moe. Or a guitar as a weapon, like Desperado or Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

Void is one’s desire materialized. Body with organs, but without organs is before becoming into a form, yes, free form like rhizome. So original desire has no form, thus empty, but Shuu has power to materialize it, like Pink Floyd’s Empty Spaces video. Yes, make it into a war machine. His right hand is a conversion device. But James Brown would’ve made it into a sex machine. Yes, make it into a 3-D waifu. Like Chobits, Steel Angel Kurumi, or Battle Angel Alita.

Moe is sunyata (void). Sunyata means “swollen.” And moe means “swollen, sprout.” Moe elements are cat ears, school swimsuits, bloomer, maid fuku, miko fuku, and so on. Out of nothingness, it sprouts. Empty heart creates desire, thirst, and hunger, ultimately saudade, or in Rev. Gendomike’s word, sehnsucht.

For Hatsune Miku, it’s an onion. The same with Grushenka’s onion. Yes, Vocavoid instead of Vocaloid.

For Tenjou Utena, a knight’s sword. Duelist’s desire, power to revolutionize the world.

For Gasai Yuno, of course it’s an axe. “Yukki~.”

For Tachibana Junichi, a tape measure. The Void of Shinshi (gentleman). To measure girl’s breast size. Or her 3 size!

For Zakuro, a cherry blossom branch blade, not from her chest but from a rabbit‘s mouth.

For Rukako, it’s Youtou (magical sword) Samidare. I want to extract Samidare from Rukako’s chest, of course, if only she’s a girl…

So, what kind of Void do you have?

Interesting. My first thought is Haru from FLCL.
