zzeroparticle: nice article! You do a good musical/aural analysis of how it contributes to the mood of the film. That's something that it took me a little while to sink in.

Mi: I think we all need to be reminded of them, really, especially when times are good. There is no guarantee we will not fall into it again at some point, and it helps us to articulate and understand those who are going through the same experiences in the present.

For me, the song hits right at the spot for emotions of the past, present, and the would-be's of the future. The regrets, the insecurities, the pain, the dreams... I never get tired of listening to the song even if it brings out such memories.

Interestingly enough, I was bored enough and threw down a review of "One More Time, One More Chance" on my blog just last week and I largely agree with your thoughts on the piece. Yamazaki's voice is really impressive in the way the rawness of his emotions seep out and touches the listener by conveying that sense of loneliness and regret that we've probably all come across at one time or another.
