Good morning my name is Zhong Lu and I will be blogging for anime diet on the manga series Naruto, Bleach, and Full Metal Alchemist.

I finished the most recent chapter on Naruto. What do you think will happen next? Your guess is as good as mine. I think Tobi (aka Uchiha Madara) is telling the truth but he’s leaving out important details. I read chapters 220-225 about Itachi’s relationship with Sasuke before the massacre and it corroborates Madara’s story: Itachi was a kind loving brother until he received a mysterious order from ANBU. Furthermore, after the massacre Itachi never kills anyone in battle even though he had several chances to kill others such as Kakashi in their first fight in Konoha. Finally, if Itachi truly wanted the eternal Mangekyou he would not have fought Sasuke until he had developed the Mangekyou too.

I think the next arc involving Sasuke will be about his attempt to confirm or disprove Madara’s claims. Anyways, I’m really looking forward to chapter 400 on Friday. Thank goodness Japan’s “Golden Week” is over.

100+ more chapters to go in Bleach (at the rate of one chapter per week that’s two years in real-time) before the climatic fight between Aizen and his espada versus the captains and lieutenants of Soul Society. Aaaarrrgghh! Ah well, more money for the creators of Bleach. In the meantime what do you think has happened in the first six flashback chapters? Is Aizen doing the killing? Back then he was evil too.

I read the manga on FMA and it’s very different from the anime. The manga and the anime diverge significantly after the Greed arc. The manga has more characters. Some of them like Ling and May, are from faraway countries. My favorite character is May: with her big round eyes, her happy, cheerful mood, and her jealous miniature panda bear, she’s the cutest!
