The main reason why I like GA is because I’m actually learning while enjoying the show. Plus, this one actually focuses on art, unlike Hidamari Sketch for example. I definitely enjoyed this one from start to finish.
And I didn’t notice that cameo of Kuro and Sen. Nice.

I’m at episode 9 and I’ve loved every episode so far. For me, it’s like Aria: I only watch an episode a night to relax after a long day.

Ray: Yeah, the voice acting in this show is top notch. but then again… when you think about it almost all slice of life shows have amazing casts.
Kadian: You know, I never thought about it that way. Maybe that’s why I loved Moyashimon. In fact, I remember reading somewhere about a guy who was in the same field that the show is based on. I guess this sort of association can happen in reality and anime more often after all :)
But yeah, that is pretty much how art school really is… when you’re not hanging out with the party freak trust fund crowd.

I’m not an art major (not even remotely close), but I’m struck by how informative this show is. For a guy who regularly tunes into History Channel, Discovery, and Food Network, I like learning a bit with my entertainment.
And GA is creative too. Like the museum trip or the surrealism episode, they frontload the education, and then they go wild with the jokes and stuff.

This show stays the way you like all the way till the end. In other words, good till the last drop. The Seiyuus make this show a great deal of quirky fun and relaxation watch.
