And it sure as hell doesn’t involve crying. Maybe I’m an insensitive bastard. Maybe I’m far too stupid to understand. Oh and, I’ve never owned a pet.

It is me or is it that harem/dating sim/graphic novel turning anime are getting desperate these days? Classics like “Snow Drop” or “X-Change” have never cared to purposely add some heavy concept into the game, where some main guy is actually a manga creator or something (believe or not, that’s been done enough times for me. Hey, I get bored very easily).

So let me get this straight, now the Japanese actually go out and take care someone who’s not even family? Just the daughter of a best friend? I thought their social responsibility stops at “family members”, even distance family members (snicker…like in games). But daughter of a best friend?

This is quite convenient indeed. Oh well, Hiromi is cute, let’s raise this girl to be the bride of our son!!!

OK, ok, ok…Maybe these Shinichiro’s folks are actually great people. So, they don’t develop any brother/sister feelings AT ALL. I mean, yeah she’s cute, but living with the person everyday without doing her would eventually make her a dull person to look at. I mean, there’s not one ounce of excitement going on.

Well, yeah, they’re teenagers already.

OK. Fine, let’s go on to the strange chicken loving girl (I wonder if she screams at Kentucky commercials and refuses to go to fried chicken joints…hmm, yum!)

Now, her pet chicken dies, and she treats the main character LIKE A CHICKEN??? SHE FEEDS HIM?

Boy, if I was that guy I’d be severely pissed.

And yeah, so the other chicken is not a chicken, and the whole cage is a grave…No, no, no, don’t bother tell me that the chicken (person) who doesn’t fly (try to rise) is as well dead. The truth is, the world doesn’t allow anyone to rise. But in any case, to use such a contrived plot device is just ridiculous. I mean, most home-raised chickens don’t fly. They can’t anyway, but most of them wouldn’t want to. The feed is good.

You know what though, the chicken girl is the most intriguing character so far. Because everyone else is rather bland.

(Right, there Ray goes again, dissing another show…)

Well, most shows this season have been unimpressive so far. Nothing like Ef. Claymore, Clannad, Haruhi, kimikiss (convention breaker), or even School Days.

Nothing that rocks my soul so far. But I’m not easily pleased.

I will give my originality award to the Chicken Loving Girl. That to me, is a definite first. I’m just waiting for her to make the connection that birds came from dinosaurs and start saying: “GAU!”

Hey, chickens could be somehow related to dinosaurs.
